German Tap Takeover
A complete German tap takeover with something for everyone. Classics, festbiers, fruit beer and popular flavours of Germany incorporated into our chosen ciders too: including Gingerbread cider and Elderflower cider.
Imported German beers from Hofbrau, Erdinger, Weihenstephan, Paulaner, Lowenbrau, Schofferhoffer & Konig Ludwig.
Also Oktoberfest brews from UK Craft Breweries; Brew York, Anspach & Hobday, Left Handed Giant, Full Circle, Utopian, Staggeringly Good, The Flowerpots, Portcullis, Time & Tide & Barney’s Beer.
It wasn't all Festbiers either. We had you covered for all the different styles. Dunkels, Marzen, Rauchbier, German IPA, Hopfenweisse, Weissbier, Schwartzbier, Radler & Black Cherry Dark Lager. We also had a very special Danish Imperial Stout brewed in collaboration by Mikkeller & Electric Bear.
Food
On Fridays and Saturdays throughout the event, homemade baked pretzels were available at the bar and served with smoked German cheese, a perfect companion to your stein! Homemade gingerbread cakey cookies were also available - they went perfectly with Seacider's Gingerbread cider.
On Sunday 21st September we had our SausageFest BBQ. We invited our friends at Portchester Butchers to Beer infuse some sausages with Schlenkerla RauchBier and cook them on their mobile BBQ in our courtyard.
On Sunday 5th October we welcomed Frasers BBQ to fire up his smoke pit to bring you a mouthwatering menu of authentic smokehouse food.
Sunday free customer cheeseboards have also made a return for the colder months!
Events
Our first and very own quiz was held on Tuesday 23rd with an Oktoberfest twist...including general knowledge, music, entertainment, history, and geography questions & picture rounds too. Prizes all round!
We had dedicated music nights on Thursdays with both Kraftwerk & Rammstein taking over the big screen with some epic live concerts and vinyl.
