Introducing From Beer To Eternity's first Oktoberfest: our biggest event yet! Featuring German beers, food, music, costumes and more between 16th September and 12th October. The pub is getting a full German makeover so why not pop in and see what we've done with the place, no booking required and free entry! Prost!
German Tap Takeover
A complete German tap takeover with something for everyone. Classics, festbiers, fruit beer and popular flavours of Germany incorporated into our chosen ciders too including Gingerbread cider and Elderflower cider.
We’ve got imported German beers from Hofbrau, Erdinger, Weihenstephan, Paulaner, Lowenbrau, Schofferhoffer & Konig Ludwig.
Additionally, we’ve got some special Oktoberfest brews from UK Craft Breweries; Brew York, Anspach & Hobday, Left Handed Giant, Full Circle, Utopian, Staggeringly Good, The Flowerpots, Portcullis, Time & Tide & Barney’s Beer.
It won’t all be Festbiers either. We’ve got you covered for all the different styles. You can expect Dunkels, Marzen, Rauchbier, German IPA, Hopfenweisse, Weissbier, Schwartzbier, Radler & Black Cherry Dark Lager. We’ve also got a very special Danish Imperial Stout brewed in collaboration by Mikkeller & Electric Bear.
Food
On Fridays and Saturdays throughout the event, homemade baked pretzels will be available at the bar and served with smoked German cheese, a perfect companion to your stein! Homemade gingerbread cakey cookies will also be available - they'll go perfectly with Seacider's Gingerbread cider.
On Sunday 21st September we’ve got our SausageFest BBQ from 1pm. We’ve invited our friends at Portchester Butchers to Beer infuse some sausages with Schlenkerla RauchBier and cook them on their mobile BBQ in our courtyard
Sunday free customer cheeseboards will be making a return for the colder months from 28th September!
Events
Our first and very own quiz will be on Tuesday 23rd with an Oktoberfest twist...including general knowledge, music, entertainment, history, and geography questions & picture rounds too. Quiz starts at 7pm 4 people per team max please. £2 per person entry. There will be prizes!
We’ll have dedicated music nights on Thursdays with both Kraftwerk & Rammstein taking over the big screen with some epic live concerts and vinyl.
