12/08/25 - 21/08/25: Konnichiwa Gabrielle Tearoom

From Beer To Eternity's Gabrielle has opened a pop-up tea room focusing on speciality tea. We are working with local tea and coffee businesses 'Bird & Blend' and 'LowTide Coffee Co' as well as serving ceremonial grade matcha supplied by 'Matcha & Beyond'. There are also homemade Japanese inspired sweet treats as Gabrielle has a passion for Japanese culture and has been learning the language for over 5 years! Micropub is open the usual hours.

Myself and my partner, Jamie are committed to creating delicious non-alcoholic drink options that go beyond the standard J20 when it comes to pub drinks. After working with craft beer, I found similarities between the type of atmosphere created with independent tea businesses like Bird and Blend's service and that of independent taphouses/micropubs like ourselves, where you are encouraged to go out of your comfort zone and try the new flavours and appreciate the different elements that have gone into making those beverages. Which is why I think they go hand in hand, why not have a micropub tea room?!

After working in mainstream coffee units, that appreciation, community and effort just isn't there - which is why I wanted to bring my passion for quality non-alcoholic drinks to From Beer To Eternity so that you can enjoy a drink that you can trust that we've tried our hardest on. So if you're driving, not feeling a beer or maybe you want to treat your kids to a quality hot chocolate that doesn't taste like hot water... From Beer To Eternity has something for everyone with an even bigger menu than before that'll remain even after the pop-up tea room has ended.

Jamie and I have worked hard to bring you freshly baked, unique, homemade sweet treats especially made for the tearoom up until 21st August. All of these have been inspired by some of our favourite Japanese flavours and textures including matcha green tea, yuzu and mochi. So far all 3 have been popular with you guys and we are so grateful that you've been enjoying them.

Let me talk you through our homemade sweet treats...

Matcha Cinnamon Rolls

A matcha green tea dough filled with a delicious crystallized sugary, cinnamon middle. Then glazed with a matcha cream cheese icing and drizzled with white chocolate. My personal favourite!

Mochi Brownies

A classic chocolatey treat with a chewy twist: taking the bouncy texture from the rice flour which is used in Japanese mochi to create a luxurious centre. Bonus: These are gluten free!

Yuzu Cookies

A fruity and refreshing alternative option which tastes just like a lemon muffin. Its cake-like middle is a delightful contrast to that initial crunch of the outer layer.
